Join the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership and take advantage of our many member benefits. We offer two types of membership, for nonprofit organizations or community partners.

NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION MEMBERSHIP
Membership is available to any nonprofit organization that provides services in Marin and is tax-exempt under section 501(c)of the Internal Revenue Code. Members support the Center’s mission to develop a vital and engaged community dedicated to building and sustaining quality of life.

• Discounted rates to the Center’s workshops & seminars, programs, and events
• Enjoy free access to our peer-based affinity groups: Board Chairs, Development Professionals, Volunteer Managers, Executive Directors, Nonprofit Consultants, Financial Managers
• Receive referrals to pre-screened, experienced nonprofit consultants through our consultant referral service

Leadership Development

• Join BoardMatch Marin and bring new leadership to your board
• Become eligible to serve on the Center’s Board of Directors
• Appoint a representative to the Marin Economic Commission

Volunteer Development

• List your agency in Volunteer Solutions, our online central database of Marin volunteer opportunities
• Strengthen volunteerism through our specialized volunteer networks for youth, seniors, corporate volunteers, and faith-based organizations, disaster response, and more
• List your agency and promote your membership with a signature “membership medallion” on our website, www.centerforleadershipmarin.org and www.givemarin.org
• Post volunteer opportunities in the local media

Community Engagement

• Participate in the appointment of a Marin Community Foundation Trustee
• RFP Eligibility for Marin Designers Showcase Heart Tug Grant
• Eligible to profile your agency in the Marin Independent Journal’s “Spirit of the Season” series
• Act as a voice to address key issues impacting the nonprofit sector on local, state, and federal levels
• Event discounts to the Marin Human Race and Marin Non-Profit Conference
• Invitations to members-only events & networking opportunities (e.g., Volunteer Fairs, Local Leaders Roundtable, and Annual Member Meeting)

COMMUNITY PARTNER MEMBERSHIP
Any individual or business that supports the Center's mission to develop a vital and engaged community dedicated to building and sustaining quality of life is eligible for Community Partnership. There are three levels of partnership from which to choose.

Nonprofit Consultant - $125

(For independent consultants  with annual budgets of less than $100,000)

Benefits:

• Nonrprofit networking opportunities (e.g, Annual Meeting, Marin Nonprofit Conference, Sector Briefings/Updates)  
• Member rate on all workshops, seminars, and special community events
• Participation in Nonprofit Consultants Network Affinity Group at no additional cost
• Use of Center conference room space for client meetings
• Checkout privileges for Nonprofit Resource Center Lending Library
• Free shared exhibit space or full table (member rate) at the Marin Nonprofit Conference
• Listing on www.centerforleadershipmarin.org website
• Receive Leadership Journal, a publication of the Center

Friend Level - $200

• Invitation to serve on the Corporate Volunteer Council, a local network of businesses committed to workplace volunteering (Businesses Only)

Partner Level - $500

• Two tickets to the Marin Designers Showcase
• Listing in Marin Designers Showcase program as a Community Partner
• Listing in Heart of Marin program as a Community Partner

Sponsor Level - $1000

• Spotlight article in Leadership Journal
• Sponsor table at the Human Race
• Four tickets to the Marin Designers Showcase
• Two sets of mailing labels (Center’s membership list)
