MARIN FAITH-BASED COMMUNITY

The Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership works with local religious and spiritual organizations to develop ongoing volunteer opportunities and community service projects for their members.

Our services to faith-based organizations include:

• Facilitating and supporting the recruitment and matching of volunteers to service opportunities throughout Marin through Volunteer Solutions
• Working with faith-based organizations to develop community service projects and to design and implement volunteer programs
• Conducting outreach to Marin’s nonprofit organizations serving low-income populations, and facilitating their efforts to engage committed and capable volunteers for one-time and ongoing service projects
• Maintaining a network of local nonprofits seeking to engage volunteers from religious and spiritual organizations
• Providing technical assistance to grantees of the Marin Community Foundation's FAITHS PARTNERSHIP Initiative
